Good Afternoon Tuba City Unified School District #15 Family,

 

 
Today is my first day serving as your Superintendent, and I could not be more honored to join this incredible district. Before anything else, I simply want to say thank you. Thank you for welcoming my family and me into this community. My wife, Molly, and I are excited to call Tuba City home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside each of you. I am here because I believe in this district, in its people, and most importantly, in its students.
 
 
As I begin this journey, I want you to know that leadership starts with relationships. My first priority is getting to know you, learning your stories, understanding what makes each of our schools special, and listening to the people who make this district exceptional every single day. Over the years, I have learned that the true strength of a school district is never found in a building, a budget, or a title. It is found in its people. It is found in the teacher who stays after school to help a struggling student. It is found in the paraprofessional who offers encouragement at just the right moment. It is found in the bus driver who greets every child with a smile, the custodian who takes pride in creating a welcoming school, the cafeteria staff who care for our students, our office professionals who keep everything running, our administrators who lead with courage, and every employee who chooses each day to make a difference.
 
 
Every role matters. Every person matters. Every student matters.
 
 
As your Superintendent, I want you to know what you can expect from me. You can expect someone who leads with integrity, listens with intention, and always keeps students at the center of every decision. You can expect honesty, transparency, visibility, and a commitment to supporting the incredible work already taking place throughout our district. Our district motto, Stronger Together, is much more than a phrase. It is a commitment. It reminds us that our greatest accomplishments will never belong to one individual. They will come from working together, trusting one another, celebrating one another, and keeping our focus on the success and the well-being of every student we serve.
 
 
I am not here because I have all the answers. I am here because I believe that together we will find the best answers. I believe every person has something valuable to contribute, and I look forward to learning from each of you as we build an even stronger future together. The work we do changes lives. Every conversation, every lesson, every smile, every act of kindness has the power to shape a child’s future. There is no greater responsibility and no greater privilege.
 
 
Thank you for everything you do for our students, our families, and each other. I am excited to visit every campus, meet each of you personally, and begin building relationships that will help move our district forward. I truly believe our best days are ahead of us, and I am honored to begin this journey with all of you. As we begin this journey together, I leave you with this thought. The strength of a school district is never measured by the buildings we occupy. It is measured by the lives we change.

Together, let us inspire hope, create opportunity, and make a lasting difference for every student who walks through our doors. Because when we believe in one another, support one another, and work with one shared purpose, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.
