NTUA Natural Gas Line Work: October 19 through November 3
Good afternoon, TCUSD Family,
I wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up about the next phase of NTUA’s natural gas line project around our District housing area. NTUA is scheduled to begin this phase of work on Monday, October 19, and continue through Tuesday, November 3. The work will include excavation and installation of the new natural gas line throughout portions of District housing.
Based on the construction plan, staff should expect work and temporary traffic impacts along Main Street, Pine Street, and Warrior Street, as well as the residential streets and housing units within that area. There may be temporary street closures as crews work across roadways to install the gas line. Signs will be posted at affected locations to help direct traffic.
If you live in District housing or travel through this area, please use a little extra caution, watch for construction crews and signage, and allow yourself some additional time. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as NTUA completes this important work. We will keep everyone updated if there are any changes that impact our staff or District operations.
