Superintendent's Office

I am honored and excited to join Tuba City Unified School District as Superintendent and become part of a community with such a rich history, strong traditions, and deep commitment to students.

My career in education has been guided by a simple belief: every decision we make should be centered on what is best for students. Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of educational leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Special Services, Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, High School Principal, and district administrator. These experiences have reinforced my passion for public education and my commitment to helping every student reach their full potential.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, my Master of Education degree from Abilene Christian University, and my Superintendent Certification through Lamar University. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to receive recognition for leading school improvement efforts and supporting student success, including being named a Harvard School Turnaround Leader, a Raise Your Hand Texas Turnaround Leader, and a Texas Top 50 Principal.

Throughout my career, I have worked alongside dedicated educators, families, and community members to improve student outcomes, strengthen school culture, and create opportunities for all learners. I believe that strong relationships, open communication, collaboration, and trust are essential to the success of any school district.

As I begin this new chapter with Tuba City Unified School District, I look forward to listening, learning, and building meaningful partnerships with students, staff, families, community members, and the Governing Board. I am committed to honoring the culture, traditions, and values of the Tuba City community while working together to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

My wife, Molly, and I have dedicated our lives to education, and we are excited to become part of the Tuba City community. We look forward to building lasting relationships and supporting the incredible work already taking place throughout the district.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Superintendent and look forward to working together to build upon the district's many strengths. I firmly believe that when we work together with a shared vision and purpose, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.
