Coconino County Education Service Agency Catalog Available
Good morning, TCUSD FAMILY,
I wanted to share a couple of opportunities that I believe are worth putting on everyone’s radar. The Coconino County Education Service Agency (CCESA) has provided its professional learning and support opportunities for educators. There are a wide variety of offerings available, including literacy, formative assessment, MTSS, restorative practices, student engagement, special education, teacher coaching, educator wellness, and much more.
I have attached the catalog for you to look through. I am a big believer that professional growth should be meaningful and connected to what helps us become better at serving kids. If you see an opportunity that interests you, please visit with your principal or supervisor about it. I also want to make sure everyone knows about the 2027 Coconino County Teacher of the Year recognition program. Nominations are open for Teacher of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year, Early Childhood Educator of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. The nomination deadline is October 12, 2026.
This one is especially important to me. We have incredible people across TCUSD who quietly show up every day, pour into our kids, support their colleagues, and make our schools better. If someone comes to mind while you are reading this, don't assume somebody else will nominate them. Take the time to recognize them.
One of the best ways we can continue building the culture we want at TCUSD is by learning together, growing together, and celebrating the people who are doing great things for kids. Thank you for everything you do for our students and for one another. I am proud of the direction we are heading, and we are going to keep getting better TOGETHER.
