Nominations Open Until Tuesday, October 6th at 5PM for Coconino County Teacher Awards
Dear TCUSD Staff, Families, and Community Members,
As we begin this new school year, I have one heartfelt question for each of you: Who deserves to be celebrated? Every day across TCUSD, our educators do far more than teach lessons. They encourage our students, celebrate their successes, support them through difficult moments, and inspire them to believe in themselves. Much of this work happens quietly, without recognition, but it deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated.
Nominations are now open for the Coconino County:
- 14th Annual Teacher of the Year
- 9th Annual Rookie Teacher of the Year
- 6th Annual Lifetime Achievement Award
- New Early Childhood Educator of the Year
I encourage our staff, families, students, and community members to think about an educator who has made a meaningful difference and take a few minutes to nominate them. A nomination sends a powerful message: “We see you. We value you. The difference you make matters.” We have so many incredible educators throughout TCUSD who pour their hearts into serving our students. Let’s make sure their dedication and impact are recognized beyond the walls of their classrooms. The nomination deadline is Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
