SUP With The Supt Week 9 - School Principals: Professional Growth and Investing in Our Own

Good FANTASTIC Friday morning, TCUSD Family,

Next week, our SUP with the Supt. The listening series will focus on Professional Growth, something that connects directly to what I believe in: investing in our own.

I’ll be visiting with our principals at their campuses to hear their feedback and better understand the professional learning and support their teachers and staff needs. Our conversations will center around three questions:

• What professional learning would benefit you?
• How can we develop future leaders?
• What support do you need to continue growing?

We have so much talent right here in TCUSD. Investing in our own means recognizing that talent and giving people the support and opportunities to grow. That could be learning alongside a colleague, strengthening a skill, pursuing certification, or taking on a leadership opportunity. Each campus has its own strengths and needs. I want to hear what our principals are seeing and what would make a difference for their teams.

What support would help you take that next step? Your feedback will help us make better decisions about how we invest in you. Whatever your role in TCUSD, your growth matters.
