SUP with the Supt: Week 4 with TCUSD Student Support Services
Good afternoon, TCUSD Family,
We’re heading into Week 4 of SUP with the Supt, and this week’s focus gets right to the heart of why we’re all here: Student Success.
This week, I’ll be sitting down with our Student Support Services team and listening to their perspectives on three important questions:
• What do our students need most?
• What does a Tuba City Warrior graduate look like?
• How do we ensure every student belongs and succeeds?
• What does a Tuba City Warrior graduate look like?
• How do we ensure every student belongs and succeeds?
I especially like that second question. When our students walk across that stage, I want them to leave TCUSD academically prepared, confident, resilient, proud of who they are and where they come from, and ready for whatever comes next. I don’t have all the answers, and that’s the purpose of these conversations. I want to listen, learn, and identify opportunities where we can better support our kids. At the end of the day, our work should always come back to one question:
Is what we’re doing helping kids succeed?
