Good evening , TCUSD family,

Today is National Coaches Day, and I want to take a moment to recognize and thank all of the coaches across TCUSD who give so much of themselves to our students.

Coaching is about far more than wins and losses. Coaches are teachers, mentors, motivators, and role models. You teach our students how to compete, how to respond when things don't go their way, how to be part of something bigger than themselves, and how to get back up and keep going.

I know the hours are long. I know there are early mornings, late nights, practices, travel, weekends, and plenty of work that happens when nobody is watching. But that investment matters. Years from now, our students may not remember every score or every record, but they will remember the coach who believed in them, challenged them, and helped them become better.

To every coach across our elementary, junior high, and high school programs: THANK YOU. Thank you for investing in our students and representing what it means to be a Warrior.

Keep coaching them up. Keep setting the standard. And keep making a difference.
