Monday Motivation: Culture Is Built Every Day

Good morning, TCUSD Family,
Happy Monday! This week, I want us to think about one word: CULTURE. Culture isn’t a slogan on a wall. It isn’t something we talk about once at the beginning of the year and hope it sticks. Culture is what we do every single day. It’s how we greet people when they walk through our doors. It’s how we talk about our students when they aren’t in the room. It’s how we respond when things get difficult. It’s whether we choose to encourage someone or tear them down. And it’s remembering who we are, what we represent, and taking pride in being a Warrior.
The little things matter. Hold the door. Say good morning. Pick up the piece of trash. Celebrate somebody else’s win. Check on a teammate. Wear the green and gold with pride. And most importantly, make sure every student who walks into our schools knows they belong here and that somebody believes in them. That’s culture.
And here’s the best part: every single one of us gets to help build it. We don’t need a new program to create a great culture. We need people who are committed to each other and committed to our students. So, this week, ask yourself one simple question: What am I doing today to make our culture better than it was yesterday? Let’s have a great week, Warriors!
