October is National Principals Month

Good morning, TCUSD Family,
October is National Principals Month, and I want to take a moment to recognize and thank our principals for the work they do every single day for our students, staff, families, and schools. Being a principal is not an easy job. There are a lot of hats to wear, a lot of decisions to make, and plenty of things that happen behind the scenes that most people never see. Through all of it, our principals continue to show up, lead, support their teams, solve problems, celebrate successes, and keep students at the center of the work.
I have a great appreciation for the principalship because I have sat in that chair. I know the long days, the difficult conversations, and the responsibility that comes with leading a school. I also know how rewarding it is when you see students and staff succeed. Throughout October, I encourage everyone to take a moment to thank your principal and let them know you appreciate their leadership and the work they do for your school community. Sometimes a simple thank you means more than we realize.
To our TCUSD principals, thank you for your leadership, your commitment to our schools, and most importantly, your commitment to our students. We are stronger when we work together. One Team. One District.
Stronger Together,
Scott Nedrow
