Good morning, TCUSD Family,

On Friday, I challenged all of us to find the good. This morning, with it being Labor Day, I’ve been thinking about the people behind that good.

To me, labor is more than just work. It’s showing up, caring, putting in the effort, and leaving something a little better than you found it.

Much of the work we do may never be recognized. Not everyone sees the extra effort, the problems solved, or the small things we do for one another. But those things matter.

Here in Tuba City, we know the importance of community and looking out for one another. The work we do isn't just about ourselves. It impacts our students, our families, and the community we serve. So today, I’ve got one simple question for all of us:

What good am I creating through the work I do?

I’m asking myself that one, too.

Friday was about finding the good. This week let’s be intentional about creating some of it for someone else. Enjoy your holiday, TCUSD Family. Spend time with the people you care about, recharge, and I’ll see you tomorrow.
