Welcome Back, Warrior Family! Tomorrow We Begin.

Good Evening, Warrior Family,
Tomorrow is more than the first day of school. It is the beginning of a new chapter for every student, every family, and every staff member across the Tuba City Unified School District.
As our buses roll, classroom doors open, and students walk onto our campuses, they are placing their trust in us. They are counting on us to create an environment where they feel safe, valued, challenged, and inspired. That is a responsibility we should never take for granted.
No matter your role in our district, you make a difference. Whether you are welcoming students at the front office, preparing breakfast, driving a bus, keeping our campuses clean, teaching in the classroom, supporting students with special needs, maintaining our facilities, providing technology support, ensuring safety, or serving behind the scenes, your work matters. Every interaction has the potential to change a child's day and, in some cases, change a child's life.
This year our focus is simple:
Stronger Together.
Together, we will celebrate successes, support one another through challenges, and always keep our students at the center of every decision we make. Great schools are not built by individuals. They are built by teams united around a common purpose.
As Robert Collier once said:
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out."
Tomorrow, those small efforts begin again. A smile at the front door. A kind word to a nervous student. A lesson that sparks curiosity. A conversation that builds confidence. These moments may seem small, but they create extraordinary outcomes.
I ask each of you to greet every student with enthusiasm, extend grace to one another, and take pride in the incredible work you do. Let's make sure every student leaves tomorrow knowing they belong, they are cared for, and they can achieve great things.
Thank you for your commitment, your passion, and your heart. It is an honor to serve alongside each of you.
Let's have an incredible first day and begin a school year that our students will remember for all the right reasons.
Stronger Together. Warrior Pride. Kids Come First.
Have a wonderful evening, and I'll see you tomorrow morning.
Scott Nedrow
Superintendent
