Here is a cool opportunity I wanted to make sure our professional educators knew about!
The Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers program is now accepting applications from Arizona K–12 public school educators. Teachers can submit a classroom “wish” for the chance to receive a $2,500 grant through Donors Choose.
Think about what $2,500 could do for your student's new classroom resources, hands-on learning materials, technology, books, STEM supplies, flexible learning spaces, or something creative you have been wanting to bring to life.
My challenge to our TCUSD teachers: APPLY!
Sometimes the biggest obstacle is simply taking the time to put the idea on paper. You already know what your students need and what would make learning better for them. Give yourself and your kids the opportunity. I would love to see some Tuba City Warriors selected this year!
Please see the information attached and consider submitting your classroom wish. And if you know a colleague with a great idea, encourage them to apply too. Keep dreaming big for our kids. Those dreams are how great things get started.

2026-27 Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers - Teacher Wishes Application
TELL US YOUR $2,500 WISH!
The Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers program awards classroom wishes to teachers across Arizona. To support, celebrate and honor Arizona educators, public and charter K–12 teachers are invited to submit an application describing a need or wish for their classroom.
A total of 500 teachers will be selected through a random drawing to receive $2,500 in classroom resources.
APPLICATION CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. (local Arizona time)!
Application period: Opens on Tuesday, September 1 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on September 30 at 10:00 p.m.
Wish Notification: Wednesday, November 18, 2026
Wishes fulfilled by: April 2, 2027

Draft Day presented by SRP is the culminating event of the Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers program. During this special celebration, local celebrities, athletes, community leaders and members of the Fiesta Sports Foundation family surprise and notify selected teachers that their wishes have been granted via a phone call or FaceTime call.
This exciting event provides an opportunity to further recognize and celebrate Arizona educators for their dedication, passion and commitment to our students. Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 18, 2026 as this is the day you will learn if you wish was granted!
