Please Welcome Penni Case, Our New Exceptional Student Services Supervisor

Good afternoon, TCUSD FAMILY,
It is my pleasure to officially welcome Penni Case as our new Exceptional Student Services Supervisor!

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Oregon State University and her Master of Education from Northern Arizona University. Penni believes meaningful change begins with strong relationships, high expectations, collaboration, and clarity. Her vision for Exceptional Student Services is built around a CLEAR path to success:

L – Listen: Actively listen to students, families, and staff.
E – Expectations: Maintain high and consistent expectations for students, staff, and programs.
A – Apply Priorities: Focus on our time, resources, and efforts on practices that directly improve student outcomes.

Penni is committed to building an ESS Department that is student-centered, collaborative, responsive, compliant, and focused on meaningful outcomes for every student. She also believes that special education is a shared responsibility requiring strong partnerships among special educators, general educators, related service providers, administrators, families, and students. On a personal note, Penni has been married for 29 years and has three adult children, two daughters and one son. With her youngest daughter attending NAU this fall, she and her husband are officially empty nesters! She also has a Labrador named Luna and enjoys spending time outdoors, quilting, and serving others.
Penni shared that she is especially excited to learn from the people who know our community best, our students, families, staff, and community members, and to contribute to the important work already taking place throughout TCUSD. Please join me in giving Penni a warm Warrior welcome. We are excited to have her leadership, experience, and heart for serving students as part of our TCUSD family. Penni, we are grateful you are here, and we look forward to working with you as we continue becoming Stronger Together.
Welcome to TCUSD, Penni!
I appreciate you,
