Educators, Staff, and Students at Tuba City High School,
Please be aware that hazing of any kind will not be tolerated at Tuba City High School. Â Please report any planned events that might occur to any adult and or law enforcement and emergency medical personnel to prevent any incidences of hazing.
Per school district policy: “Hazing” means any intentional, knowing or reckless act committed by a student, whether individually or in concert with other persons, against another student and in which both of the following apply: The act was committed in connection with an initiation into an affiliation with or the maintenance of membership in any organization that is affiliated with an educational institution. The act contributes to a substantial risk of potential physical injury, mental harm or degradation, or causes physical injury, mental harm or personal degradation. (JICFA-EB, Student and Family Handbook, p. 32, 33).
