These are the official results of 2025 State Leadership Conference in Tucson, AZ.

Student: Mahto-Sha American-Horse  (Kimberly Nez, ECE Teacher and FCCLA Advisor)

• 1st Place – “Gold” Medal in Early Childhood Education “Toys that Teach” FCCLA STAR Event (Level 3)
• 2nd Place OVERALL STAR Event Competition – “Diamond Glass Plaque”

Toys That Teach – Recognizes members for their ability to design, build and demonstrate an original homemade toy which provides learning, and play for either an individual child or a small group of children. The toy is to be constructed of common, everyday household items, meet safety guidelines, and be easy to carry and use.

• 2nd Place – “Silver” Medal Early Childhood Education (Level 3)

Early Childhood Education – An individual event that recognizes participants who demonstrate their ability to use knowledge and skills gained from their enrollment in an occupational early childhood program.en and the community.

• 2nd Place – “Silver” Medal in “Focus on Children” (Level 1)

Focus on Children – An individual or team event that recognizes participants who use Family and Consumer Sciences skills to plan and conduct a child development project that has a positive impact on children and the community.

• 3rd Place – “Bronze” Medal in Early Childhood Education (Level 3)
