Tuba City High School 2024 Skills Native Competition
Tuba City HS Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Members competed with eight Satellite Schools (TCHS, MVHS, WRHS, GHS, Sander Valley HS, CHS, PHS, RMHS, NATIVE Central Campus). The following are list of winners from each category for Tuba City HS CTE students:

- Auto Tech—Brent Engle
- Business Management (BM)—Crystal Yazzie (her students are all dress traditional, competitive event was Business Plan and BM Role Play).
- Construction Tech—Robert Blackhat (students working on carpentry project)
- Culinary Arts—Everett Sauter (students in Chef uniform compete in cake, cupcake decorating and pastry)
- Early Childhood Ed (ECE)—Kimberly Nez (students competed in ECE Individual competition—Puppet Show or Traditional singing to Pre-K students, Job Interview took 1st)
- Graphic Design-Brandon Tso (Advertising Design in computer lab)
- Welding Tech—Ryan Goldtooth (Welding Project, Fabrication, and Sculpture)
Congratulations to each CTSO member, not only did they compete in the Skills Competition, but students also had to complete a Job Application, Resume, Letter of Interest, a Portfolio (Certificates such as OSHA10, CPR, First Aid, AED, Food Handlers card), and take a Knowledge Test. They will be competing in the FBLA, FCCLA, and SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference/Competition the latter part of March in Phoenix, and/or April in Tucson. Thank you for the support.
