Tsinaabaas Habitiin Elementary School From the THES Principal
March 30, 2026
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for choosing Tsinaabaas Habitiin Elementary School for your child’s education. I am honored to introduce myself as your principal. My name is Sharlene Navaho; I am Tangle Clan, born for Towering House People. My maternal grandfather is Reed People, and my paternal grandfather is Salt Clan.
My career with TCUSD began in January 1999 as a first grade teacher at Gap Primary School. Returning to THES feels like a homecoming, bringing me back to the community where my journey as an educator started. I am truly excited to lead this school and look forward to meeting you as we finish the 2025-2026 school year together.
