Dear TCJHS Family,

As we approach the end of the school year, we want to remind you that instruction will continue through the very last day of school. Every day remains important, and we are committed to ensuring that all students continue to learn, grow, and finish the year strongly. Your child’s academic success remains a top priority.

Please also be mindful that if your child has been recommended for summer school, it is important to return the permission slip as soon as possible. This recommendation is made to support both attendance and academic progress, and it plays an important role in helping students be successful and prepared for the next grade level.

As we move through the remaining days of school, we encourage you to support your child by ensuring they attend daily, arrive on time, complete and turn in all assignments, and stay focused in class. Maintaining a consistent routine at home getting enough rest, and encouraging your child to do their best each day can make a meaningful difference in finishing the school year successfully.

We appreciate your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. If you have any questions, please fell free to contact the school.

Sincerely,

C. Benally, Ed.Sp., Principal

Meet The Principal

Hello! My name is Constance Benally, and I am proud to serve as the Principal of Tuba City Jr. High School.  I have been in education for 26 years, with 19 of these years dedicated to the Tuba City Unified School District.  Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including school counselor, classroom teacher, dean of students, and now principal.
I am passionate about working with teachers, parents, and students, and I strongly believe that every individual has the potential to become a positive, contributing citizen.  My goal is to help nurture that potential by fostering a supportive and empowering school environment.
I truly love and respect my teachers for their hard work and unwavering dedication to our students. Tuba City Jr. High School holds a special place in my heart, and I find great joy in watching our students grow academically, emotionally, and socially as they become confident and self-sufficient young adults.
I look forward to continuing to serve our school community and working together to ensure success for all our students.
